Gov. Douye Diri Gives Executive Testimony At RCCG Holy Ghost Service

The newly sworn in governor of Bayelsa State, Duoye Diri on early hours of Saturday has given a special testimony at the monthly Holy Ghost Service of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God.

 

The governor decked in all white senator kaftan was full of thanks to God , pastor E. A Adeboye and the members of the church for their prayers while the legal tussle for the government house in Bayelsa lasted.

 

Governor Duru was sworn in on February 14 after the APC candidate Lyon has his election nullified by the court following allegations of documents calcification. The APC candidate has earlier been declared the winner of the governorship elections which held in the state in November 2019. He was however disqualify barely twenty four hours before he could be sworn in.

 

In his testimony, Governor Duoye recounted how he has to run to pastor Adeboye for prayers when it was obvious he needed God’s intervention if the decision of the Court was to go in her s favor.
