The All Progressive Congress National leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC national chairman, John Oyegun, were recently spotted exchanging a handshake at a public gathering.
To the admiration of many, the political giants set aside their differences and shook hands at the launch of a book written in honour of President Muhammadu Buhari. The report further revealed that the pleasantries exchange was short-lived as the APC chieftains sat far from each other at the book launch held at the International Conference Center (ICC), Abuja.
Although the unity was short-lived, the two politicians sat far from each other after the exchange of pleasantries in the presence of other politicians and dignitaries.
The book launch, which held at the International Conference Center (ICC), Abuja saw Tinubu and Oyegun avoiding further interaction during and after the event.
Though both Oyegun and Tinubu mounted the podium for the book presentation, the ruling party’s National Chairman reportedly walked past Tinubu before exchanging handshakes with other dignitaries present at the occasion.
Oyegun and Tinubu fell out after the APC governorship primary election in Ondo state and both have avoided each other like a plague.
