Candidate for the Adamawa Central Senatorial district under the platform of the young Progressive Party (YPP), Dr. Simon Bawa Hyelanaya has declared that it is indeed God’s appointed time for positive and good representation for the good people of Adamawa central.
Declaring this on his verified social handles as well as WhatsApp groups, the Hong Local Government Area indigene of Adamawa State expressed deep appreciations for the great support he has enjoyed since declaration of interest in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, adding that it is indicative of a long awaited will of the people of Adamawa central to experience representation by one of their very own.
A graduate of Federal University of Technology Yola (FUTY), now Modibo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH), Bawa, who is very popular with his people as a Farmer, Grassroots Mobilizer, Rabbi and classroom Teacher, is highly experienced and seasoned as he was in 2014, the Gubernatorial Candidate for Adamawa State under the People’s Party of Nigeria (PPN), Gubernatorial Candidate of Young Progressive Party (YPP) 2019, Public Relations Officer (PRO) Adamawa Governorship Forum 2019 and State Acting Chairman of Young Progressive Party (YPP) Oct 2021 to March 2022.
Assuring the people of his dedication to serving their collective interest, which he says is mutual and in tandem with his own desires for the people and region, Bawa expressed confidence that he will be able leverage on having been on ground at the grassroots level, since he grew up in Hong and Yola the state capital as well as having interacted very much with all within and outside the state and all over the country, to be adequately informed as to the very core needs of the people of Adamawa Central.
