One of the newly appointed Members of the Governing Board, Niger state Baro commission and Chairman APC Christian Political Forum, Niger State has expressed optimism that the APC gubernatorial candidate in the state, Mohammed Umar Bago will be a huge blessing to the state.
Confident that by his (Bago) track record and character which he describes as liberal and unassuming, the Governorship hopeful is accepted and loved by all, especially the youths in the state.
Bawa, while speaking to journalist in Minna the state capital, said that the ruling party, APC is working because it comes with a formidable structure that speaks for itself, hence the tendency for the party to attract the right kind of individuals who are truly interested in serving the positive interest of the people.
In his submission, the guber candidate, Umar Bago is a down-to-earth individual who has been known to show unhindered affection to his people irrespective of their difference in social or career status and also very prominent in empowerment of the people.
Bawa who was recently named as member of the Governing board of the Niger State Baro project commission by the Sani Bello led government of Niger state is one of the state’s most prominent youth in politics. The Baro project is an economic agenda to avail a shipping line to Niger state to boost its economy. Bawa also doubles as the Chairman APC Christian political Forum.
