Barely few days after an explosion carried out by two female suicide bombers, two deafening explosions has rocked Maiduguri on Sunday morning, December 11, 2016.
According to a report by Premium Times, witnesses and officials said the twin explosions occurred in a crowded area near Maiduguri’s main market.
Confirming the blasts, the Police public relations officer, Victor Isuku, said the two blasts which occurred in quick succession at about 8:48 a.m, was near Old NEPA office not far from Monday market.
The attacked area, it was further reported, is one of the busiest places in Maiduguri and is usually crowded with commuters and pedestrians.
