Many have been feared dead in a bomb explosion that occurred in a mosque at the University of Maiduguri, Born State. in Nigeria’s troubled northeastern state of Borno.
The explosion has once again created panic in Nigeria’s troubled northeastern state of Borno.
According to Saharareporters, the explosion rocked the university in the early hours of Monday, January 16, 2016 while some students and staff of the university were observing prayer at 6:30 am.
Already, security forces have been reportedly mobilised to the scene of the attack to arrest the situation.
The Nigerian army and the NEMA are yet to confirm the official number of casualties.
