20 years after rapper Christopher Wallace was shot and killed in Los Angeles, California, the killer has not been found nor brought to book.
However, Biggie’s mum said she knew who killed her son.
Volletta Wallace, 64, told the DailyMail.com that she had a very good idea of who Biggie’s murderer was even as she believed that there was a major cover-up in play. She still expressed hope that the Los Angeles Police Department would do the right thing.
Biggie Smalls, aka Notorious B.I.G. and born Christopher Wallace, was on March 9, 1997 killed in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles.
His mum, Voletta Wallace, still hurts from knowing that she will never see her son again while his killer is still at large, 20 years after.
Hip Hop Mogul and erstwhile best friend of the deceased, Diddy, planned a special activity to mark the 20th Anniversary of Biggie’s demise by launching a Social Media Campaign.
The 47-year-old Harlem-born hip-hop star and entrepreneur invited followers to rap their favorite Biggie verses and post it on social media with the hashtag #WeMissYouBIG.
In other activities, Hip Hop stars, Remy Ma, Fat Joe, Trey Songz, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, The Dream, and others paid tribute to Biggie as BET Networks presented a day-long celebration of the rap icon’s life and works.
Meanwhile, the car in which Biggie was murdered in is now being sold by memorabilia dealer, Moments in Time, for $1.5 million.
