Middlesbrough FC have sacked Spanish Coach, Aitor Karanka following a winless run in which they have taken only four points from a possible 30.

Karanaka leaves the club in the Premier League’s relegation zone with just over ten matches of the season left to be played.
Assistant head coach, Steve Agnew will step up to take control of the first team.
“Both parties have agreed that it is in the best interests of the club to make this change,” the club stated.
Boro are second from bottom, three points from safety and without a league win in 10 attempts since mid-December.
They have failed to score in the past four of those matches and have managed only 19 goals in 27 league games this season.
Karanka, who was assistant to Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid oversaw promotion last season.
He reportedly had a strained relationship with some players like Stewart Downing and Patrick Bamford who were left out of the squad for last weekend’s FA Cup defeat by Manchester City, with the manager saying he needed “18 fighters”.
