A 40-year-old Tola Saliu former army lance corporal who is the leader of a kidnaping group has been arrested in Asaba yesterday by the Delta State Police Command
The former Millitary officer Inside Sources gathered specialised in the abduction of expensive ladies and women riding flashy cars in Asaba and environs.
The Delta state Commissioner of Police, Zanna Ibrahim Tola is a notorious and very skilled kidnaper due to his military experience.
The commissioner said other members of the group now at large, usually trail their victims to places of interest, including eateries, supermarkets, relaxation centres and schools, pounced on them and take them away in their waiting car.
Tola in his confession said “My victims have always been females. I have never gone for my kind. I kidnap valuable girls, ladies and women and this has never failed us. I resigned as a soldier to concentrate on kidnapping.”
