One of the world’s biggest record labels Sony Music Entertainment will begin the production music in vinyl records formats again after about 30 years out of circulation.
According to Sony Music spokeswoman a dramatic increase in demand for vinyl music in recent years prompted the move for the label to come back into vinyl recording.

Sources in Sony Music Entertainment disclosed that the label will resume vinyl production by March next year in one of its factory in southwest of Tokyo which is run by one of its subsidiaries but yet to decide which genres of music it will produce.
The source who further disclosed that the major challenges facing Sony Music now is lack of experience engineers said that the firm has installed an analog record-cutting machine in February, which makes master copies of records for mass production, and is now introducing a pressing machine while former engineers are returning to the company in advisory roles to pass on their expertise to younger employees.
