WHY I RESPECT NNAMDI KANU

By Emperor Gabriel Ogbonna, Esq.

I shall never be among those calling Nnamdi Kanu names.

To me, Nnamdi Kanu is a great man, a very great man.
He gave the Igbos a voice, he caused those who hated the Igbos to turn their necks and look at us.

I may not agree with everything he says but I will respect his effrontery to say it.
Right now, the whole world is hearing our story, all because of this Ibeku man.
To me, Nnamdi Kanu is a great man.
If not for Nnamdi Kanu, Nigeria will still think that the Igbos are nothing.
Today, we are being discussed.
Today, both the North Central and the South South are aligning with the Igbos and the traditional allies of the north are abandoning them.
Even the Afenifere is aligning with the Igbos in our story.
All because of the forgotten fire Nnamdi Kanu ignited.

What exactly is the benefit of great education when you are living in bondage?
The fact that Nnamdi Kanu is dreaming of a time when the Igbos shall be free, a time when we shall remember motherland and smile, is sufficient for me.

He is one of Igbo’s finest, both past and present, and I agree with his ideology that Biafra needs to be free.
