Accordin to Imo state Governor, the Imo state Police command has arrested some suspects allegedly linked with the abduction and killing Rev. Fr. Cyriacus Onunkwo last week.
The arrest came shortly after the state Governor Rochas Okorocha re-assured residents of the state that his administration had put in place adequate measures to ensure the security of lives and property and that indigenes should go about their lawful businesses without fear.
Governor Rochas while speaking with journalists yesterday at the state capital in Owerri, disclosed that the suspects were making useful confessions that would help police investigations.
According to the governor Some people entrusted with the security of the people in Imo state may be complicit in the case.
