One Inspector Imana Samuel and two of his junior rank police officers posing as security men to an internet fraudster popularly known as yahoo boy are now in Delta state police command custody for allegedly killing one person in a shooting spree in Warri recently.
According to reports, the police officer in an alleged ecstasy to impress their yahoo boy paymaster during a child dedication party in Warri, Delta state on Sunday shot one Elvis Ovie dead while one Onome Eko sustained gun injuries.
Inside Sources gathered that Insp. Samuel alongside a Sergeant and a corporal from the Warri Area Command after shooting Ovie and Eko also brushed off another unidentified victim while hurriedly conveying late Ovie and injured Eko to a hospital.
According to Ovie’s elder brother, the lady whose child dedication took place at N15 Ewor Street, Okumagba Layout, Warri, where he was killed, was Ovie’s close customer who had invited him to the event.
Sources in the area disclosed that the cops were on illegal duty and had always been fond of hobnobbing with ‘yahoo yahoo’ boys for perks.
