Following efforts of Lagos state government to get rid of the dreaded Badoo cult group which has been terrorizing the Ikorodu area of the state, the cult’s operational shrine has been demolished by the security agency in the state.
Sources in the Lagos state command of the Nigeria police disclosed that the said shrine located at Agbowa area in Ikorodu which was the operational base of the cult group belongs to one Alhaji Abayomi Alaka, the chief executive officer of Alaka Petroleum
Inside Sources gathered that following the death of five family members who were brutally murdered by the cult group in Ikorodu area of Lagos state, the 51 year old Alaka was arrested in his Magodo residence in Lagos following a tip off that the owner of Alaka Petroleum was a member of the dreaded Badoo cult group.
Meanwhile Alhaji Alaka who is also the owner of highbrow Magodo has denied involvement with the terrorist group and had threatened the Nigerian policea and Media for linking him with Badoo cult group.
While reacting to the development Alaka said “i will sue the Inspector-General of Police, Commissioner of Police and all the media houses that called me Badoo sponsor. The media ought to have investigated the allegation before publishing anything.
I told the police that the actions they took will back fire, they started panicking. As a matter of fact, I’m seriously upset because the journalists did not interview me. I was angry that they didn’t allow me to be interviewed”.
