Another Catholic Priest Rev. Fr. Lawrence Adorolo serving at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Okpella has reportedly being abducted by unknown gun men along the Auchi-Okpella highway on Wednesday evening.
The Catholic Bishop of Auchi Diocese, Most Rev. Gabriel Dunia disclosed this in a press briefing yesterday at Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State that Rev. Fr. Adorolo was on his way to his parish in Okpella from Auchi when he was was whisked away in a getaway vehicle around 6:pm on Wednesday.
According to the Bishop the abductors has contacted the church for a ransom but the church don’t pay ransom as it is not a profit making organization.
