ADO POLY STUDENTS BURNS DOWN CLINIC OVER COLEAGUE’S DEATH

Protesting students of the federal polytechnic Ado Ekiti has set the institution’s clinic ablaze following the sudden death of one of the student of the institution.

The angry students according to information made available to Inside Sources set the clinic ablaze over poor facility which led to the death of a final year student of the institution.

Sources in the institution disclosed that two students from the Department of Estate Management died shortly after they were given some drugs at the clinic.

According to sources, trouble started when the final year student of the department of estate management, Oluwafemi Vincent died after he was allegedly abandoned by the health workers at the clinic when he was been rushed to the clinic over the complaint of severe headache.

One of the students who spoke under anonymity said the protesting students set the clinic ablaze due to alleged negligence on the part of the clinic’s health workers which led to the death of two students.

Meanwhile all efforts to reach the authority of the institution has been fruitless, but a student hinted that the school management has asked protesting students to vacate their hostels with an immediate effect while a panel will be set up over the violence.
