Umuohiagu Autonomous Community of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo state was thrown into a mourning mood when a trainee nurse identified as Calista was stabbed to death by an Assemblies of God Church Pastor, Esom Jehovah after a disagreement over a missing phone battery and charger.
Inside Sources gathered that Pastor Esom reacted angrily when Calista approached him over a missing phone and charger a neighbor gave to her to charge.
Sources in the community disclosed that the pastor’s 21 year old daughter ran into the house at the heat of the fracas to fetch a knife which was used to stabbed the deceased and she bled and died on the spot.
An eyewitness account said “a boy in the compound had given the deceased a phone battery and charger to assist him recharge it, but Pastor Esom Jehovah’s first daughter stole the items, which were later found in her custody five days after.
But the Pastor reacted angrily to the allegation against his daughter and beat up the deceased mercilessly before his daughter went and picked a kitchen knife and stuck it deep into her back while her father held her down”
Inside Sources gathered that the daughter is currently on the run, but the Pastor who almost fled after the incident which led to the death of the trainee nurse has been arrested by policemen attached to the Umuneke Ngor Divisional Police Station while the remains of the late Calista been deposited at the Holy Rosary Hospital morgue.
