FAYOSE EMPOLYS 51 PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED PERSONS INTO CIVIL SERVICE

The Ekiti state governor Mr. Ayodele Fayose as part of the activities marking his third year in office has ordered immediate employment of about 51 physically challenged indigenes of Ekiti into the State’s Civil and Teaching service.

Governor Fayose made this declaration yesterday at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium when he met with the Ekiti State Chapter of Nigerian Association of Physically Handicapped as part of the activities marking his third year administration.

Mr. Fayose during yesterday’s meeting appreciated the association’s support for his administration and assured them of his continuous assistance even after leaving office as governor.

Governor Fayose noted that the employment and the social support scheme hasn’t gone round, as he promised to add 100 more members of the association to the state social support scheme beneficiaries who are being paid #5000 per month.

Governor Fayose also directed that all members of the association must benefit as nothing done to improve their lives could be regarded as too much considering their limitations. In the same vein the governor directed that beneficiaries of the employment window be removed from the social welfare scheme in the spirit of fairness.
