A police sergeant attached to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) Eboigbe Nagbama Osakpamwan is currently cooling off his heels at the Edo state police headquarter in Benin City for allegedly organizing thugs to beat one, Ese Idehen for sleeping with his estranged wife.
Osakpamwan popularly known as Smally was arrested after Jefferson Uwoghiren, counsel to the victim Ese Idehen filed a case against him at the Benin police headquarters for brazen abuse of power, criminal abduction, assault and battery.
Uwoghiren in the suit claimed Osakpamwan on Monday 9th of October falsely accused his client Ese of dating his ex-wife and with the help of ten other cult boys beat him up and then locked him up in police cell in Ugbor G R A Benin city but was released the following day.
