Popular Nigerian billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudueme Onwuamadike and five others who were yesterday re-arraigned before the Justice Hakeem Oshodi of the Lagos state High Court sitting in Ikeja for alleged kidnapping of one Dunu Donatus, has pleaded not guilty after admitted being guilty in a previous trial.
Evans as he is popularly called at the resumed proceedings yesterday led by director of the directorate of public prosecution (DPP) Titilayo Shitta-Bey, was again faced with a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and kidnapping in an amended charges.
Counsel to the defense during the yesterday prosecution prayed the court for adjournment to enable them confer with their clients and response to the amended charge filed by Shitta-Bey.
The court under the jurisdiction of Justice Oshodi granted their prayer and adjourned the case till November 3 for trial.
