The Lagos High court sitting in Igbosere has set November 10 for judgement of the case of the billionaire kidnapper Chukwudumeme Onuwamadike popularly known as Evans seeking to quash fresh charges against him.
Evans in the last hearing asked the court to dismiss proposed twin charges of murder, attempted murder, kidnapping and attempted kidnapping among others filed against him by the Lagos State Government.
The sitting which was presided over by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo ordered that Evans be remanded in prison alongside his accomplices till November 10 following arguments between Evans and the state council.
Other suspects, on same trial with Evans on seven counts, have been in Police custody since their arrest unlike Evans who was transferred from the police to prison custody following his arraignment before Justice H. Oshodi of a Lagos High Court in Ikeja.
