TSTV IN BAD START, SHOWS LEAGUE MATCH ILLEGALLY

Newly launched pay television in Nigeria TSTV has been accused by BEIN Sport for illegal airing and broadcasting of the Europa League match between Arsenal and Red Star Belgrade.

The November 2, 2017 unauthorized Europa League match airing has left many of their subscribers across Africa in shock
A subscriber who narrated the ugly incident said the match was truncated half-way into the game.

The subscriber who begged to remain anonymous said “This happened right before my eyes. And it is compared only to American wonder in Nigeria. 29 seconds to the commencement of the Arsenal versus Red Star Belgrade match, a message appeared on our screen saying you are viewing BEIN sports content illegally via TSTV in Nigeria and immediately after this, the screen went blank and there was another message that stayed for a while before TSTV wiped it out.”

According to the subscriber this is surely a bad way to start a business which is touted an alternative to major competitor.
