The southwest caucus Board Of Trustee of the People’s Democratic Party PDP has rejected the aspiration of the former governor of Oyo state Senator Rashid Ladoja, Otunba Dgenga Daniel, Professor Wale Oladipo, Jimi Agbaje and Akin-Deko Akintayo of Ondo State who are vying for the office of the Party’s national chairman.
Inside Sources gathered that the development was as a result of concern from stake holders in the southwest that the zone might lose the position due to the array of contenders for the position.
Meanwhile the duo of former minister of Sports and Special Duties, Professor Taoheed Adedoja, former National Vice and Deputy Chairman of the Party, Chief Olabode George; and Former Education Minister Prof. Tunde Adeniran has been considered as possible options.
