There’s a wild jubilation on the street of Harare in Zambabwe as the 93 years old Robert Mugabe announced his resignation as the country’s president after 37 years in power.
Zimbabweans troop out to the street with flags singing and celebrating shortly after the speaker of the Zimbabwe’s parliament Jacob Mudenda during the Tuesday sitting broke the news to members of the parliament.
Zimbabweans according to Sahara reporters said they did not care who became the next president as long as the man who ruled the country for almost four decades stepped down because there is hope for a better future.
Sources in Johannesburg disclosed that Zimbabweans living in Hillbrows, the central part of Johannesburg South Africa also took to the streets in celebration.
