A 25 year old man is currently cooling his heels in Kwara state police custody in Ilorin after been arrested for having seven human skulls in his possession.
The young man who claimed to be an herbalist during interrogation had confessed to have exhumed the heads from a Muslim cemetery located at Igbo Owu community in the Ifelodun local government area of the state on Tuesday.
The Kwara state commissioner of police Lawan Ado while parading the herbalist among other suspected criminals in the state said the herbalist was arrested along Ilorin-Ajase Ipo road with a sack containing the seven human heads.
According to the commissioner, the police was in search of his second suspect whom they both committed the offense together as they were said to have exhumed the heads for ritual purpose.
The police boss while parading the criminals hinted that the suspect would soon be charged to court as soon as the investigation was concluded on the matter.
Meanwhile the herbalist had told the police that his co-suspect who is now at large initiated him into the crime, adding that they meant to use the seven human skulls for the money-making ritual.
