EGYPT COUNT THEIR DEAD AS MILITANT ATTACKED MOSQUE

No fewer than two hundred and fifty-five people were said to have been killed as suspected militants attacked a mosque at the North Sinai province of Egypt on Friday.

According to an eye witness disclosed that the al-Rawda mosque in the town of Bir al-Abed, near al-Arish, was attacked by the suspected militants during the Friday jumats prayers.

Reports disclosed that the region has been fighting an Islamist insurgency since 2013 before four men in an off road vehicle suspected to be militants opened fire on the worshippers.

Aside for the number of people confirmed dead, it was gathered that over one hundred people also sustained various degrees of injuries in the Friday prayer attacks
