Popular Nigerian musician, Harrysong has slamed the Delta state governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for his negligence over the increasing rate of communal ethnic clashes in the oil rich state.
The artiste who took to his social media page condemned in particular the clash between the Ogbe Ijaws and Aladja which has recorded death of many people.
The after the reggae play the blues crooner in an Instagram post which is now trending condemned the silence of the governor towards the recent turn of clashes in the state saying the governor is not a leader but a businessman who is trying to make money for himself.
Harrysong on his Instagram said “I woke this morning highly infuriated and troubled about how much Nigerian politicians have raped this country without a conscience. Even my state Governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa is worse. Aladja and my community, Ogbe Ijaw have been killing themselves for years and OKOWA is rather playing a businessman than a father and a leader he is meant to be. Come 2019, we need leaders, not politicians”?
