The duos of Nollywood veteran actor, Olu Jacobs, and his filmmaker counterpart, Tunde Kelani, has described the late broadcaster, Tunde Oloyede as a quintessential artiste that was well respected in the entertainment industry during his lifetime.
Kelani while speaking to newsmen on the death of Oloyede said the late actor as a gem, and a professional to the core.
Kelani in his words said “he was a brother, friend and professional colleague. He was a gem, a good listener, the whole of the entertainment industry will definitely miss him.
Jacobs who also speak on the demise of his fellow actor said “It is very sad that Tunde Oloyede is dead. He was a great artiste, well respected during his life. He was a man who enjoyed helping others, very caring and a good family man. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”
Oloyede, a former President of Independent Television Producers Association of Nigeria (ITPAN), the producer and director of the popular television drama series The Village Headmaster as well as Tightrope died at age 70 at Festac town residence on Monday.
