Going by the pictures released by the human right activist Joe Okei-Odumakin late Tuesday night, the ailing veteran actor Sadiq Daba who was diagnosed of prostate cancer and leukaemia is responding to treatment at the Princess Grace Hospital in London.
According Odumakin, Sadiq thanked the doctors and ancillary staff of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife, and all Nigerians especially those who led the campaign to raise fund for his treatment abroad.
The actor also extended his gratitude to the governor of Lagos state Akinwunmi Ambode, Plateau states governor Simon Lalong as well as Senator Dino Melaye of Kogi west senatorial district and his Kaduna counterpart Shehu Sani.
