President Muhammadu Buhari has removed Ibe Kachikwu and appoints Maikanti Kacalla Baru as the new managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
Meanwhile, Buhari who state clearly that Kachikwu we still remain as minister of state petroleum and serve as chairman of the new NNPC board.
The new NNPC GMD is Maikanti Kacalla Baru, with the current six Group Executive Directors have been replaced as follows: according to the presidency.
