Popular and veteran Nollywood actress, Bukky Ajayi, has been confirm dead. She passed early hour and she will be buried later today according to Islamic rites.
The late actress, who died early morning at the age of 82, has contributed, cohesive and active in the Nigerian entertainment industry for year and enjoyed a career.
More so, her love for the theatre stated as a young girl when her father used to take her to cinemas. She started trending with the ‘Village Headmaster in the 70s, and later got a role in Amaka Igwe’s Checkmate.’
Bukky Ajayi’s popular movies include Mother of George, Indecent Girl Diamond Ring and many more.
She was recently honoured at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards 2016 and was presented with the ‘Industry Merit Award’ alongside Sadiq Daba.
In the meantime, burial of the late thespian is slated for 4pm today at Atan Cemetery. Her body leaves her residence, 20, Alawode Street, Masha, Beside Kilo Hotel, Surulere.
The Late Bukky Ajayi is the Jazzman Olofin’s grandmother –In-law.
