Many had thought it was a rumor but it actually turned out to be true. The event leading to the arrest of a popular artiste under the management of Don Jazy’s Mavin record Reekado Banks.
The singer according to gist gathered by Inside Sources, was arrested by a newly wedded couple who paid him to perform at their wedding but Reekado Banks after collecting two million naira for the contract did not perform as agreed as he couldn’t make it down to the wedding reception.
The couple were said to have contacted Reekado through an on air personality cum comedian Uwa Idahosa but the wedding reception which took place somewhere in Benin City Edo state ended without the singer fulfilling his part of the deal which landed him in the Area G command of the Nigeria Police in Ogba Lagos.
But rather than refund the full payment, the artiste said he will only pay eight hundred naira claiming the rest has gone in for logistics.
