EBONYI STATE LAW MAKER BAGS 14 DAYS SUSPENSION FOR TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS

Love for photography and selfie has cost the Law Maker representing Afikpo North East constituency in the Ebonyi state House of Assembly Mrs. Maria Ude Nwachi popularly known as Afikpo Chic a 14 days’ suspension pending the report of the special committee constituted by the House to look into her case.
The law maker it was gathered in a motion raised by the Leader of the House, Honorable. Joseph Nwobasi was suspended for an alleged gross misconduct of posing as public photographer after several warnings.

Nwachi, who is the former Minority Leader of the house according to gist made available to Inside Sources have refused to heed earlier warnings by the Assembly to desist from being a photographer in the state, an action which has brought much disrespect and dishonesty to herself and the Assembly.

Findings however reveals that Afikpo Chic in 2016 was suspended for over two months by same Assembly for sponsoring a peaceful protest by Afikpo youths against the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC, as a result of epileptic power supply in the town which later turned violent as some of the youths set ablaze some vehicles of the Disco.
