Few days after the news on the attack on the 15 hectares’ farmland belonging to the former presidential candidate of the Alliance for Democracy AD Chief Olu Falae, broke out, the Fulani herdsmen this time around added some ritual activities to their operations killing a 67 years old farmer and removing vital parts of her body.
According to Information made available to Inside Sources, the farmer was identified as Patience Salami. After the Fulani herdsmen attacked and destroyed her farm of over 200 hectares, the terror group went further in killing her, cutting her body and removed her tongue, heart, private part and Bosom.
It was gathered that the herdsmen’s attack came when most dwellers of the community had travelled outside the community for one or two engagements.
A close friend of the deceased identified as Bolanle Raheem disclosed that Mrs. Salami was gruesomely murdered and vital parts of her body taken away by the herdsmen after their cows had feasted and destroyed a large part of the farmland.
Bolanle while speaking to journalists said “I usually leave the community on Thursday for Akure, the state capital, so that I can attend mosque on Friday, one of the farmers called me on Saturday to say my friend had been murdered. I rushed back to the community to behold the dismembered body of my friend. The activities of the herdsmen in the community are worrisome. We appeal to government and security operatives to come to our aid”.
