Nigeria EFCC Discovered N2.5B In Ex- Aviation Minister Secret Account Own By Housemaid’s

Nigeria secret agent of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), have found the sum of N2.5billion in a bank account opened in the name of a housemaid to former Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah.

According to EFCC investigations state clearly that the former minister apparently opened the account without the knowledge of her housemaids and use housemaid’s name, photograph and details in order to cover her corruption tracks.

Apparently, the innocent house maid did not even know that she was a billionaire with over 2.5billion naira in her name, while she was probably be babysitting and waiting for her five thousand monthly salaries.

An EFCC agent investigations into the account revealed that the ex-minister is the sole signatory to the account. At the time the agent discovered, we learnt that Ms. Oduah had been running up and down to some top official of the presidency seeking their help to scuttle her impending judgment  

One of the secret agents to EFCC said the account was still active and contained over N2.5 billion. He added that he could not ascertain whether the EFCC had ordered to freezing of the account because the volume of transaction in the account has been huge has at the time of investigation.
