The death of the treasurer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia, Chief Steve Omoga, has been announced by the party leaders in the state.
According to a report by NAN, Omoga, 58, was confirmed dead by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Chief Don Ubani, in a telephone interview within Umuahia on Thursday, November 18, 2016.
The late Omoga reportedly slumped after playing lawn tennis at the Umuahia Sports Club on Wednesday evening, November 16, 2016 and was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, where he was confirmed dead.
Don Ubani has described late Omoga as an “amiable, loyal party man”saying his death is “painful.”
