As the Lions club worldwide celebrate its 100 years of existence Leo Adeola Ogunsola Peters of District 404B-2 Nigeria has broken a long term record, beating the cabals controlling the district to emerge as the 2nd Vice District President of district 404B2 Nigeria.
Leo Adeola Peters a member of the DG Bolarinwa Leo Club beats Leo Ibukun Adetunji of the Lagos Oregun Leo Club with an edge victory in the election decided by delegate of clubs in the district at the Lions Multiple National Convention in Ilorin Kwara state tagged “HARMONY 2017”
Adeola we gathered is among the few Leos in the District who is so passionate in reviving the spirit of old Lionism as the Leo program is gradually dying in the district.
Inside sources authoritatively gathered from Leos in the district that some past presidents of the district formed cabals and decide who and who to be at the helm of affairs at the district level.
The District according to information made available to Inside Source was bifurcated in the 2014/2015 Lions service year with Leo Deji Olukokun as the pioneer district president.

Leo District 404B2 Nigeria has a total of 28 clubs spread all over Ekiti, Oyo, Ondo, Kwara and some parts of Lagos and Ogun state conducted election for the post of 2nd Vice District President alongside its 404 A1, A2 and B1 counterpart at the L’roeal Hotel Ilorin on Friday 12th May as part of the activities for the 2017 National convention.
