EUROPEAN CLUBS BATTLES FOR IHEANACHO

European Clubs are on war path over who to have Nigeria’s Manchester City’s super star Kelechi Iheanacho on their payroll.

according to Standard Sport, West Ham are in top preparation for the striker when the transfer window opens while the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Hoffenheim, Bayer Leverkusen and Everton have also indicated their interests in the Nigerian soccer machine.

Meanwhile, Everton had made a fast move of £20 million bid for Iheanacho who is said to have become frustrated at City, and could leave when the windows open in the summer.

The Nigeria international according to some Nigerian based Man City fans has slipped down the pecking order with Pep Guardiola since the arrival of Gabriel Jesus in January.

Iheanacho has scored 21 senior goals in 63 games for the Manchester City FC, with most of these appearances coming as a substitute.
