The Islamic Terrorist group ISIS has confessed of being the brain behind the attack in Manchester that has claimed the lives of least 22 people with several others injured.
The Terrorist group released a statement in Arabic through its central media body where it described the bomber of the Arena attack as “soldier of the caliphate”.
The group in the statement released on Tuesday claimed 100 people were either killed or injured while praising the suicide bomber who carried out the Monday night attack during a Grande concert in Manchester, London.
It was gathered that ISIS has been periodically releasing detailed guidance on how to carry out terror attacks in countries targeting its militant activities in Syria and Iraq, including bomb-making instructions as the most recent edition of its Rumiyah propaganda magazine listed concert halls among “ideal target locations” for attacks.
The Terrorist group was said to been using Explosive devices with homemade triacetone triperoxide (TATP) in the largest European attacks in Paris and Brussels, and has been discovered in several foiled plots.
The Manchester attack took place on the fourth anniversary of the killing of Fusilier Lee Rigby in Woolwich, which was inspired by al-Qaeda propaganda on avenging civilian casualties in the Middle East.
