One Yusuf Oriyomi, and his friend, Idowu Ayigoro, was yesterday arraigned before Mrs Taiwo Akanni at the Ikeja chief magistrate’s court, for alleged sexual assault on Oriyomi’s 15- year-old daughter.
The prosecutor, Inspector Clifford Ogu, told the court that Yusuf Oriyomi 38-year-old baker, who resides at 24, Ferry Close, and his friend, Idowu Ayigoro 42 years old carpenter, residing at Arabamo Street, both in Oworoshoki, area of Lagos are being tried for sexually assaulting a 15 years old girl on different occasions between 2012 and April 2017 respectively.
Ogu told the court that the girl’s mother had travelled to their village when the father woke her up at night and put his manhood between her thighs.
According to Ogu, the girl told her mother when she came back from the village and also narrated how her father’s friend defiled her five years ago. Hence, the case was reported at the police station by the mother and both accused were apprehended.”
