The All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos State local government council primaries election on Saturday ended with violent as aggrieved delegates protest the outcome of the primary

Trouble started when the leadership of the party was announcing the names of the 18 candidates endorsed by the party for the local government polls.

The chairman of the Electoral Committee, Tokunbo Afikuyomi, narrowly escaped being stripped naked by the protesting delegates.

The protesters later destroyed the ballot boxes while many of the delegates reportedly ran helter scatter protecting their heads from flying stones and chairs being thrown by the angry protesters.
