BANK ROBBERS KILLED 3 POLICE IN IWO

Three men of the Nigerian Police force guarding commercial banks in Osun State, were reportedly killed last night as daredevil robbers attacked three commercial banks in the in Iwo, town of Osun state.

Details of last night robbery is yet to be released but it was gathered that one of the robbers was said to have been gunned down during the operations.

According to reports, the yesterday robbery operations were said to be similar to previous ones in the town as the robbery was said be the third series of attacks on banks located directly opposite Bowen University, Iwo.

The operation, which lasted for about an hour, forced residents, shop owners and passers-by, where the banks were located, scampered for safety as the gun-trotting robbers shot sporadically into the air to scare people away from the scene.

The robbery gang we gathered gained access into the banking hall with the use of dynamite to open the bullet-proof doors, leading into the banking halls and went away with substantive amount of money.
