Barely a week after the kidnapping of the wife of a delta State Commissioner, another unidentified gunmen have kidnapped the Registrar of Delta State Polytechnic, in Ogwashi-Uku, Mr. Collins Onyenwenu.
The Registrar we gathered was kidnapped on Saturday evening along Ugiliamai/Onitcha-Ukwani Road, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of the state by some unknown gunmen.
According to information made available, the Registrar was dragged out of his car and taken away in another car while his official car was abandoned along the road.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer Aniamaka who confirmed the kidnap yesterday, said one person has been arrested in connection to the matter.
According to Aniamaka, the Police while the registrar car had been recovered.
