An 18-year old Angela Uzordima has been remanded in prison by an Isolo Magistrates court for allegedly sending threat text messages to her female boss over N6000 salary debt.
Angela, a former sales girl to a popular socialite, Folayo Adeola was remanded in prison custody after she failed to meet her bail condition.
Inside Sources gathered that the embattled sales girl after her secondary school started working as a sale girl at Adeola’s boutique located at Duduyemi street, market bus stop in Egbeda.
According to reports, Adeola gave Angela only N3,00 out of the N9,000 they both agreed on as monthly salary before Angela traveled to her village for a burial.
Angela on her return from the burial, Adeola was reported to have employed another worker but she refused to pay her when she asked for the balance of her salary .
Following the refusal by Adeola to pay the balance, Angela we gathered sent a threat text messages accompanied with her account number at Fidelity Bank Plc, to her former Boss that if she did not pay the money, Adeola’s family will face danger.
According to Adeola, “when I received the text messages, I contacted my husband in Abuja who immediately contacted the police at Idimu Command.”
Angela who was arrested through her bank details admitted that she sent the text messages because Adeola refused to pay her.
The presiding Magistrate, Mr A.O Ogbe granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum. She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition while the case was adjourned till July 2017 for further hearing.
