The Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council Alhaji Mustapha Adamu has vowed to take legal actions against parents who refused to present their children for polio vaccination in the Gwagwalad area of Abuja.
Alhaji Adamu disclosed this on Monday after meeting with immunisation officials at the council secretariat in Gwagwalada that he would use legal means to deal with such parents,
The Council boss who described such parents as enemies of the nation said “Saving the lives of our children from polio is saving the future leaders of this nation. Anybody found wanting will be dealt with, the future of this nation is in the hands of the younger ones,”
Sources in the area hinted that stakeholders have embarked on series of meeting since the beginning of the exercise to proffer solutions to the challenges being faced by the polio officials while on the field.
