Clash between the Nigerian police and their Airforce counterpart has left Properties worth several millions of naira destroyed in Jeddo Community, Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.
Source disclosed that trouble started when personnel of the Counter Terrorism Unit, CTU, of the police got engaged in a hot argument with a lady which resulted in a physical assault as the police personnel reportedly slapped the lady who happened to be an air-force personnel’s daughter.
According to the source, the lady went back home to relate her experience to her father, which reportedly mobilized his men and stormed the spot where his daughter had been assaulted.
Inside Sources gathered that the Airforce on arrival to the scene, opened fire on the Policemen which later resulted into a serious shoot-out as people in the area scampered for safety
