The much awaited Lagos state local government election has come but like any other elections there must be the beautify and ugly stories to tell from all parties involved.
Apart from the winners who will have beautiful stories to tell, the losers also share the ugly side of the story, the funny set use that opportunity to make “cool cash”
News filtered in that some peoples were caught with a loaded commercial bus with voted ballot papers all for APC.
When they were accosted by the crowd the Police men around allowed them to escape but the bus was seized by the crowd. This is one unfortunate scenario for APC but do we know how many had been perfectly done already? Let’s focus on Ifako Ijaiye where lots of Nollywood drama took place.
We all know that the leaders of the All Progressive Congress APC forced candidates on the party, a case which is yet to be settled either within the party or in court but despite the grievances they still went to the poll with full force isn’t that crazy?
The councillorship candidate of Ward B in Ifako Ijaiye Hon. Bisola Fadayomi the incumbent councilor whom according to residents in that area disappeared ever since elected as councilor in the last local government election all for Bisola to re-appear again this time around.
Bisola whose father is one of the APC chieftains in Lagos according to residents relocated to Lekki and in most cases travel out of the country is this same person the party forced on the people?
Information gathered so far was that APC knew the residents are not on good path with Bisola and the only way to retain the seat is to plant a new candidate in opposition camp just to split the votes which at the end of the will see Bisola riding smoothly to victory and the said candidate if emerge the winner will decamp to APC.
Prior to the election, the People’s Democratic Party PDP leadership tussle has divided PDP into two factions, the Sheriff and the Makarfi factions. While the Makarfi faction do not want to lose out while waiting for court pronouncement directed its members to come out under the unmbrella of Labour Party LP, the sheriif factions came out under Accord Party and financed by Bisola and APC.
Aside the rumor that with or without election Apostle Toba Oke of the APC has won the election a total of five political parties contested for the local government election in Ifako Ijaiye local government

Of all the councillorship candidates in Ward B Kolawole Odedeyi of the Accord Party two days to the election was said to be moving from house-to-house sharing money and food items.
Aside that, Odedeyi with some members of the Sheriff factions after Supreme Court judgement which named Makarfi led care taker committee as the authentic leaders of the party went around confusing people that Accord and Labour Party are the same since both parties are PDP split over. These they were able to manage successfully convincing people that Councillorship slot is for Accord while Chairmanship goes to Labour Party.
In order to monitor the process, Bisola and some APC members moved from poling unit to poling unit yet the police could not do anything. Is this not madness? Let’s wait for the final result.
