I love making zobo drink by myself. For some time, i stopped using refined sugar because i knew it’s a killer substance. Then someone introduced me to jolly juice or something like that. I would put like half of the sachet in the zobo and it is already sweet. I knew something wasn’t quite right until i read the food label. The strange word i saw there was aspartame and since i didn’t know much about it, i decided to do research on it. The answers i got chilled me to the bones and i asked myself why these companies would use this stuff when they know how dangerous it can be. I became wary of things that will boast of no sugar.
That brings me to another killer “Zero coke”. People are consuming this without looking back claiming it is healthy. Zero coke is a KILLER! Drink. If you look at the bottle well, you will see where they wrote in tiny letters, “contains aspartame”. This is far more deadly than sugar so why would these multi-billion dollar companies put people’s lives at risk just to make more money?
You can’t feign ignorance because they will claim they wrote the info on their bottles just like cigarette companies will tell you they added a warning that smoking is dangerous to your health. You can’t fight them because they have the money to buy lawyers, health officials etc but you can stop yourself from using and also warn your loved ones. i wanted to buy Orbit chewing gum from shoprite yesterday and of course it has aspartame so i held myself.
Can you imagine how many thing we ingest on a daily basis that has aspartame?
It is better to be safe than sorry.
Do Not Use Your Money To Buy What Can Kill You.
Aspartame consumption is extremely harmful to people with diabetes. It makes it more difficult to control sugar levels and aggravate diabetes-related conditions such as retinopathy, cataracts, neuropathy and gastroparesis. The sweetener also has been known to cause convulsions often mistaken for insulin reactions.
