The Kogi state leaders of the All Progressives Congress have warned the National Chairman of the party Chief John Odigie-Oyegun against any move of dissolving the state executive committee of the party.
The Senator Alex Kadiri-led leadership of the Kogi state APC who are apparently against the state Governor Yahaya Bello disclosed that the Odigie-Oyegun-led National Working Committee lacked the power to tamper with any state executive of the party.
Kadiri and Melaye who spoke to Journalists after a closed door meeting at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja said they know what to do should the state executive is dissolved.
Kadiri while addressing journalists said, “We met with the national chairman and his team and we arrived that the National Working Committee will not tamper with the APC executive in Kogi State. The executive of the APC at all levels in Kogi State will not be dissolved because there is a procedure for the dissolution of the party executives at the state level even at the national level.
