There are worries and threat to job loss as the Kwara State government detects about 400 cases of certificate forgery among state and local government workers.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Kwara state Governor on Media and Communications, Dr Femi Akorede Muideen, while briefing the Press shortly after the State Executive Council meeting held yesterday at the Government house, Ilorin disclosed that about 400 civil servants at state and local government level were said to have been involved in certificate forgery.
According to Akorede, the Hajia Zarah Omar led committee set up by the state government for BVN verification exercise discovered that about 400 hundred civil servants in Kwara state forged documents submitted to the state.
